The simplest ways to reduce artificial lighting costs are to:
use natural light as much as possible
turn off the lights that aren't needed.

Equipment
With equipment, you'll save power by:
turning off the machine when you're not using it
cleaning and maintaining equipment regularly
replacing inefficient parts or machines
checking air hoses and compressors for leaks.
